    Hi all,

Where is the best places to sell your guitars? I'm not looking for prices or anything, just if you have dealt with a shop and thought, "That was a really good deal"

I'm personally based in Dublin, but can't see anything wrong in including the whole country!

I couldn't find anything about this on this forum, and sent Malice_ a pm. He said there should be no problem with it.

there really isn't anywhere decent, does that place Jimmy's music by the red cow do trade ins?

ultimately though your mad to trade in to a shop,as shops pay VAT on trade ins,and need to make a profit
your going to get low balled, there's several hundred quid extra to be made selling privately on the likes of adverts.ie

agreed - you will never get as much in a shop unless its a trade in - they can be ok from that regard.

    +1 for Adverts.ie

We don't do trade in's but if i knew something was worth €100.00 as a re-sell I would offer you €50.00 max. Only way a shop is going to make profit is to low ball you, if its a trade in then you might get more money but not a sure thing.
