As the title says.. Curious to see what bugs if any people have come accross.
In general it's running pretty stable but I have noticed a few quirky issues and one very annoying one!
Also with regards to multi tasking, Apple claim that one of the Apps that supports m/tasking is Skype. Yet, when I download the app it says it is only supported by 3.1.x?? Checked and no available updates from Skype to support 4.0?

I would imagine skype havent released the beta to the general public, but have submitted it to apple for testing.

yes you still need to exit out of apps to reply to an sms, but apple have made it much easier to switch between apps by double pressing the home button you get your currently open apps across the dock at the bottom which saves time going back to the home screen and then back into the sms app or eirtext etc..

Yeah kinda thought that might be the case! Damn, it was one of the things I was really looking forward to using. Family and work colleagues abroad makes a really appealing feature of 4.0..

so if i'm playing a game i still need to exit out of it to text. then when i go back into the game it doesn't start from where i was but goes through the loading process again?

The only thing i'm looking for from multi tasking is the functionality I currently have on my Jailbreak 3G using BiteSMS.

Well I would imagine that the particular game will need to support multitasking in order for you to temporarily exit from said game, reply to a text and then resume the game where you left off.
At the moment if you are playing a game and exit to reply to an sms and then return to the game it will reload from the start and depending on the game continue from where you left off..
I'm guessing that the new gamecentre and future game releases will support m/tasking?

I believe you need to be a registered developer with Apple, that will allow you access to the Software Development Kit (SDK), which in turn will probably let you have access to the pre-release OS.

The SDK only runs on Mac, as far as I know.

    Correct on both points!

Also, it must be noted that the Developer Preview of 4.0 may not have the versions of the Apple apps that will be with the public release in June. The Developer Preview is onely intended for third party developers to write and test their apps.

Apple would probably leave the newer versions of their own apps off the Developer Preview as third party developers don't have any need to see how the next version of the SMS app (etc.) will work, and Apple don't like to give too much away when they can help it.

They generally give us the updated apps.
