The Poker Room 2nd Annual Main Event

The Poker Room Celbridge is proud to announce the return of its Main Event, commencing Saturday 1st of May throughout the bank holiday weekend.

Estimated €10,000 prize pool

30k Starting Stack, 60 Minute Clock

The starting stack and structure will be the exact same as the W.S.O.P. main event with two small adjustments.
The buy in will be an affordable €200 + €20 and the blind levels will be 60min instead of 120min.

Day one will commence on Saturday 01.05.10 at 16:00 in the Poker Room Celbridge.

Day two will commence in Celbridge on Sunday 02.05.10 at 16:00.

Tournament is capped at 60 players, and is expected to be a sell out based on the level of interest expressed and last year’s turnout of over 80 players.

The event will most likely be an Irish Ranking Event (Not yet confirmed).

3. Date & Location - 01.05.10/02.05.10 @ The Poker Room Celbridge, Main Street, Celbridge, Co. Kildare
4. Registration 15:30, Start 16:00
5. All players must be at least 18 and be a member of the club (its free and easy all you need in photo I.D)
6. Max capacity – 60. Players can register at the Poker Room Celbridge or by contacting us on 0862301229
7. Type of Tournament - No-Limit Texas Hold’em, Freezeout
8. Cost of entry -€200 +€20 reg.
9. 100% of prizepool paid out on the day.
10. Estimated €10,000 prizepool.
11. 30,000 starting stack.
12. 60 minute clock throughout (see structure below).
13. 10% of field paid, e.g. top 6 for a 60 person tournament.
14. Fully dealer dealt.
15. Amended Tournament Director Association rules in use and on display in the club.
16. Tournament Director – Paul Fitzpatrick
17. TD has the final say
18. Cash games available, 5% rake capped.

3. - 150-300
Dinner Break 30 min, play resumes at 19:30
4. 25 150-300
5. 50 200-400
Break 10 min play resumes at 21:40
6. 50 250-500
7. 75 300-600
Break 10 min play resumes at 23:50 (Remove 25 Chips)
8. 100 400-800
9. 100 500-1000
End of Day 1 (Play ends at 01:50)

Day 2

1 hour levels, play will commence at 16:00
LEVEL ANTE BLINDS
10. 200 600-1200
11. 200 800-1600
12. 300 1000-2000
Dinner Break 30 min, play resumes at 19:30
13. 300 1200-2400
14. 400 1500-3000
Break 10 min play resumes at 21:40 (Remove 100 Chips)
15. 500 2000-4000
16. 500 2500-5000
Break 10 min play resumes at 23:50 (Remove 500 Chips)
17. 1000 3000-6000
18. 1000 4000-8000
19. 1000 5000-10000
Break 10 min play resumes at 03:00

Glad you enjoyed it, should be another cracking tournament this time round. Basically the reason behind it is space & staffing. In saying that we may be somewhat flexible and possibly allow for a few more.
