Printed photo issue

    I received some 8x10 photo prints back from photobox today and they all had a thin white border top and bottom of photo,is there a way I can stop this from future orders or is shrink to fit the only answer thx

    What was the aspect ratio of the JPEGs you sent them? Most DSLRs use a 3:2 aspect ratio that isn't the same as an 8x10's 5:4 ratio so printing them on 8x10 paper will result in letterboxing.

    If you don't want to see this in future, I suggest you crop your images to the aspect ratio of the output medium or choose an output medium that already has the same aspect ratio as your images.
