Am i entitled to medical card?

Just wondering would i be entitled to a medical card as I checked the citizens information website and I am over the weekly income limit which is €164 as I am living with my living family and am single my income is €196 per week from JSA. Just wondering would I be entitled to one as my only means of income is from JSA?

Yes, if that's your only income, you would be entitled.

According to the HSE's guidelines, if your income is derived solely from Social Welfare allowances or benefits or HSE allowances you should be granted a Medical Card even though your payment is in excess of the Income Guidelines for your age and situation.
