    Is it true that if you get a hole in one that your G.U.I.insurance(the 20 euro you pay eevery year) covers you to buy a round of drink at the bar.:eek:

    There is a limit, €250, I think, and some conditions.
    The claim must be for a HIO in an official competition and claim must be accompanied by official confirmation from club in the form of Secretary letter and/or scorecard.

    Not so sure it's as high as €250 unless it has gone up for this year or there are different policy types/providers.
    Last year the amount covered under the €20 Golfsure policy was somewhere around €100/110 of a bar bill upon receipt of till receipts & validated scorecard.

    It's 127 Euro, equivalent of the old 100 pounds, Have been lucky to have enough to have 2 claims in the last 2 years, best 20 euro I ever spent, the GUI insurance!!

    They knocked it up the €250 last year, from €127 before that.
