Where in Cork can I get a planed hardwood board - I see a company called morgans in dublin who supply all different wood types but Dublin's too far away for me.

I'm just looking for something 8ft long by 3 inches wide and about half an inch thick - oak or similar.

The B&Q type places just seem to have heaps of pine and red deal but I need something tougher.

    Appreciate any answers.

Try one of your local joinerys to plane up a piece for you
