Does anyone know if there is any Jeweller or one of them Gold buying shops in the city that might be interested in buying a diamond?
    Thanks.

Maybe start by bringing it to a few jewellers to get it valued first?
Then follow up by asking if they're interested in buying it.

I don't think many of them do that sort of thing anymore tbh but I guess it might be worth a try??

Or you could maybe try to sell it privately.

Maybe posting here might be helpful.

    Thanks for the suggestions.

I've tried one or two of the larger jewellers and they only buy from one approved supplier - which is completely understandable.

Try the jeweller you bought it from. Are they local?

If you sell it to a jeweler, you'll be lucky to get one tenth of what was paid for it. Try Ebay or the buy/sell websites. Your best bet.

Can you describe the ring. How many carats, and style?

Why would a gold buying shop want to buy a diamond? (they buy gold).
Ebay is the best place to sell a diamond.
Jewellers are no good, its like selling ice to an eskimo.
