The scheme overall doesn't look great but what about the traditional orchard option?

€50 a tree but what do you need to do?

How much land needed for 100 trees for the maximum payment?

    Is it worth the hassle?

If you could find a market for the fruit then it might be a runner.
    Maybe make your own cider?

I changed my mind on this, not a great environmental scheme but I might pick two other options instead which would be more suitable.

    Thanks for the replies.
