concrete strength for raft holding hollowcore

    we are putting hollowcore in as our first floor and our enginneer has said that 30newton strength is fine for the concrete in our raft foundation. Has anybody put 35n or stronger instead? Want to be sure that it will handle the weight. extra steel has been added too.
    its only 135m sq of 150mm hollowcore that is put in, not a whole lot by all accounts

    structural queries are not allowed.

    your engineer is being paid to 'crunch the numbers' so he/she would have a more informed opinion.
