Using CO2 with Madbull Landmine

    Hi all,

I got a Madbull Powder shot mine and its performance with green gas (Ultra air) is not very impressive. The instructions say that if you know what you're doing, CO2 works much better. Instructions say you can fill up to 500 psi and recommend using a regulator.

    See the instructions here: http://www.ehobbyairsoft.com/ehobbyasia/PowderShotUserManual.pdf

Could you use the 12g CO2 cannisers to fill the mine with CO2 or would you need an adapter of some description?

If this were possible, I guess I could borrow a regulator and fill it once and see how long is required to fill to 500 psi?

    So... in summary,

    1. Do I need an adapter to fill the mine with CO2 using the 12g cannisters?
    2. Could I get away with a regulator if I have an idea of how long to fill for?

You'd need something like the Madbull XC03 to fill it with co2 from the co2 capsules.

Well the 12g CO2 cartridges don't have a valve, so yeah your going to need an adapter. And I guess you could buy an adapter without regulator, but the fill time would vary depending how much gas is in the cartridge and the filling temperature would also probably effect it. You would be much better off buying one with a regulator, like the Madbull XCO3.
