Setting yourself daily targets

Let's say your starting bank is 100 euro. If you aim to make 2.5% per day, this works out to be 200 euro or so after 30 days. Just a question about daily targets and staking plans - What's recommended? Are daily targets a bad idea? Does anyone here have any success with them?

Obviously you're not going to make a profit every day and it will vary (maybe this is where you set a weekly/monthly target?) but what's the recommended approach to a losing day - what should my max liability for the day be?

    Appreciate any advice.

Also, I'm thinking that it would be nice to have your profit for the day and just leave it at that, and just go off and do something else instead of betting. Same obviously apllies to your losses, if you lose x amount in one day, just walk away.

most gamblers cant just 'walk away'..and then lose potential profits..you need discipline to make this game pay

True, but you can also impose weekly max losses on Betfair so maybe that's something that could be looked at?

you'd want ta quit gambling completey if your having to set loss limits weekly..some weeks might not show profit but to set loss limits is alarming imo..I make a living from sports betting mostly horses and i tend to bank at the end of every month.remember NEVER CHASE

Well you can't chase if you've a limit imposed? Not saying that I would use this but it is there. That's all.
