Can anyone recommend a good bronzer for a pale skinned girl?

Rimmel Sunshimmer in the 'Light' shade. Cheap but good!

The ELF studio golden bronzer is lovely if you're doing an order off there.

Its a much softer consistency than the rimmel one so easier to blend but the rimmel one is grand too if you're starting off!

Another vote for the Rimmel bronzer

I've never tried the Rimmel ones, but aren't they really shimmery? Chunks of gold running through?

they do both matte and shimmer ones. Im actually using a shimmer one at the min and its very matte though!

I'm extremely pale and what I am about to recommend is quite old skooool; but honestly if you are very white the pearl finish Egypt wonder compact powder works fantastically well. The colour is perfect and it's not too shimmery. It wears well too; and doesn't affect the skin in anyway. I've tried loads of different ones but time and time again I keep coming back to it; it's very natural looking and really does give a healthy glow. It's around €25 and lasts for ages:)

They do a matt one aswell(they call it 'sport') but it's way too dark for pale skin.

Smashbox do a nice one in their 'soft lights' range also:)

Steer clear of the Rimmel Bronzer, if you are anything like me and very pale skinned this will make you appear very orange!!! I got a fantastic bronzer in a little make up studio in gorey co wexford i cant remember the name but the girl told me to steer clear of orangy coloured bronzer, also one with very little shimmer- if any. i bought a matte bronzer, just for light dusting, its brilliant and has lasted me about a year!!!!! :p I agree, the Hoola bronzer is brill, its brown and not orange!!!

Another vote for this or the Bobbi Brown bronzing powder.

I love Mac refined golden but it breaks after a few months which is relly annoying- that said, i keep carrying it around in my handbag!

Im using Nars Laguna at the moment which could be a little dark but I blend it well.

I had a gorgeous Chanel bronzer (cant remember the colour but it would have been one of the lighter ones) but it was stolen. It was so flattering though- really warm colour.

I agree with going for brown over orange tones.

I find the Benefit bronzer extremely dark tbh, but maybe that's just because I'm not overly keen on bronzer in general. I use MAC bronzer, Refined Golden. Another poster says that it breaks easily but I've had mine for over six months now and no problems.

This always happens whenever I buy an expensive bronzer as I carry them in my hand bag or gym bag. I have started using the bronzer pearls instead. No 7 do them. Not as good as BB shimmer brick but at least it doesn't result in money down the train and a destroyed bag.

True- thats a better option for out and about.

Ive also just found out that Nars do The Multiple in four bronzer shades so I'm definately gonna nab one of those when I cant afford it.

It's a cream that turns matte and powdery on the skin- I have The Multiple in Orgasm and I love it!
