I have not got a clue about cars (buying/selling, etc...) so I need advice.

I have a 2001 Toyota Yaris, thinking of changing it for an upgrade, I have looked at the Toyota Auris, its like the Corolla and I have looked at the newer version of the Yaris in one garage near to where I live.

Auris is 2007 and 99,000 km
Yaris is 2006 and 96,000 km

I have been told by others that these cars are both very high in milleage.. what do you think?
Quoted €6,500 for the Yaris and €8,500 for the Auris, no negotation - is this good value? And which would be a better car?
