    Hi Guys, I'm looking to trade in my 03 D BMW 318 M-Sport estate. It has 93k miles, reverse sensors etc and is in great nick.

    Looking at buying something for about 9-10k and need to get the best i can?

    What do you think?

    well thats a different story alltogether im afraid, you need to allow for dealer profit, warranty etc on your car to the dealer so maybe budget for getting 3k from the dealer.

    why not advertise it privately for a month and see if it shifts?

    I think you'd get a bit more. 6k on a private sale - with the M level of kit, and probably 4.5 from a dealer as a p/ex allowance. Estates are getting popular again, and if yours has M spec, it's got bucket seats, alcantara, climate, cruise, fogs, anthracite headlining, fogs, pdc, auto dipping rear view mirror, MFSW, bodykit, lowered suspension, 17" alloys - pretty desirable TBH.
