Is there anywhere in town folks would recommend for a going away drinks? I'm organising one at the mo but not sure where in town to go / book a table so any suggestions would be welcome!

You'd need to give more details.

How many people? Age range? Wild night or more relaxed?

Ages would be 20's - 30's and about 20 of us, Doesnt have to be a mental night but not sitting in a deathly quiet pub either :D

Mac Turcaills just off Pearse St. does great food. Tends to be busy aswell and they accommodate for group bookings.

Ye went in on a fri night couple of weeks ago, we were going into Diceys (fiver in) but the bouncers directed us down to Bojangles (tenner in). Think it bit scammish as we just walked through it and in the back entrance to Diceys!
