New Model iphone

    Hi

    Looking at getting an iphone 3Gs and a friend just told me that there is a new model coming at the end of the month. Does anybody know if this is true and if so will it be availablein dublin at the end of the month

    usually means 3 4 maybe 5 months after for us ! if your with o2 anyhow ! going on past experience !

    What?
    There has been no new iPhone released and no mention of it from Apple. However, for the last three years there has been a new Iphone released in the summer so more than likely there will be one this year too. Apple are notoriously silent about these things and nothing offical will be announced until probably June. Most likely (again not official, going by past releases) the new handset will be released in the US and a few other major markets first and then slowly released in other markets within a few weeks of the initial release.

    and also with the release of the 3G S, the US got it on June 8th-ish and Ireland got it about a week later so i'd imagine the new phone will be the same time frames.

    o2 got about 6 handsets, the rest of us were on a waiting list for 3 months +

    regardless of how much stock they got, it was still officially launched in Ireland a week after the US, that's what i was trying to say.
