Question about Britton Insurance

Hey, my insurance is up for renewal soon and I was just looking online for a few quotes. I have a claim (my fault) and was on the Britton Insurance site and there is no where to add a claim, it only has that in Assumptions you must not have more than 5 fault accidents in the last 5 years. Is that it? Once you haven't had more than 5 accidents in the last 5 years you will be quoted regardless if you have 4 claims or 1 claim? I have 1 year NCB and britton are cheaper than many other companies I was looking at.
Also, they say that the car can not be an import but they quote my current car which is a jap import whats they deal with this?
Anyone insured with them who can answer any of my questions? Cheers

The assumption general refers to them refusing to quote you outright if you've had more than 5. The quote itself will vary depending on how many and how expensive the claims were. From memory of dealing with Britton it tells you somewhere on the site to call if you've got claims history.

The quote for your car is also likely for a UKDM/non-imported model. Do NOT get insurance on the "ahh, their system quoted me" basis because you'll likely be screwed if you try to make a first party claim.

Check their excess. It's probably more than the value of the car
