Shouldn't you really be giving this to your existing customers rather than here. As if your not a customer it's a waste of time.

Haven't used (and wouldn't use) your service so the surveys are non-starters. Here's a site review instead from design pov and potential customer who would not sign up with you.

Header could be trimmed for height. Logo could do with a bit more work.

'Here at .....' is fluff content with little value for users or SEO. Could be summed up by something like 'Quality hosting at great value' put in as tagline under your logo.

Plans are graphics with no alt tags and irrelevant filenames so no SEO value. They're 'fancy' scribbles so look a bit unprofessional. They're also hosted on tinypic which is a bit bizarre given your business. They have no call to action.

The hosting pages have no call to action/link to ordering.

Your Terms of Service seem like copypasta and are in parts unrelated to what services you say you provide.

You have no contact info or who you are details or even what country you're in. This is vital for trust and a showstopper. It's actually more confusing as you resell for fatcow but that info is buried in the bloated ToS copypasta.

Blog is unbranded. Livechat page looks bad. Login pages are at fatcow.

URLs are bad for SEO and undescriptive. SEO in general is barely there.

The template's code is producing a load of junk like empty and redundant divs and spans.

Again, I'm not a customer but after looking at your site I'm assuming you're aiming towards an American market? If not, and you're aiming towards an Irish market your site has a noticeably slow loading time, and for someone who has some knowledge in the computer area this would certainly set alarm bells ringing..

As a fellow Clare man, I apologise for the following harsh criticism!

    1. The site looks cheap and nasty. It's a template that looks bare and lacks any meaningful content.
    2. You have no branding whatsoever. Brands increase trust. I don't trust your site.
    3. Your CMS implementation is poor (embedded forms don't fit, URLs are bad, content lacking, content badly structured)
    4. You don't look like a business that has invested any time or money in its offering. THat's particularly harsh, as I'm sure you've at least put in some time. If I was to use a web host reseller, I'd expect some "value add", otherwise I could just go to the source. In your case, I could go direct to FatCow for $22 less a year. You add nothing to the equation. In fact you take from the equation. I have to give you more money, and you're an extra chain in the link for when things go wrong. I assume you're a "1-man shop" (certainly appears as such) so this is a deal breaker for me (was I to be in the market).
    4. You're reselling against a US-based host. That means all your Irish customers (if that's your target market .. I assume it is, partly at least, given you're posting here and based in Ireland yourself) will experience slower websites. All sorts of other issues like Google ranking, support availability, backup schedules, maintenance downtime are in the pot too.
    5. You're reselling in US$. Not ideal, especially with Paypal being the only payment option.
    6. You have no contact details on the site. As a customer, that's a red flag. Why is there no registered business details, why is there no land line, etc.
    7. You give no indication as to your VAT status. Again, a red flag for anyone considering buying from an Irish business.
    8. There's nothing "unlimited" in hosting. Ever. Everyone that has tried has run in to issues (FastHost in the UK, FatCow in the US). I recommend you review your choice of host to resell, because I guarantee you, FatCow is not a long-term viable solution (no matter how green, how well-intended, how cool they appear to be now). I've no direct experience with them, but I can tell you that a number of sites I've investigated (as part of URL.ie, or for customers of mine) have had issues with DB connections, responsiveness and so on. Basically, what you'd expect from an "unlimited" host. Only 2 things can happen to FatCow. Either a) they become limited (and you're back to competing on tech specs, and likely annoying existing customers) or b) they go bust.

Basically, your site says nothing other than this is a half-assed effort from an individual looking to make an easy buck.

Now, that's the harshness over with! It's easy invest a bit of time and a small bit of money to become a reseller. It's a very competitive market, so without some investment, I'd suggest you're wasting your time (and your customers'). If you're sure that's what you want to do, review the advice/criticism above and decide what it is that makes you unique (or should make you so!). Most importantly, good luck in your venture!

In the interests of transparency, I offer hosting services. Now, I can assure the above is not an attack on a competitor. It's intended as good advice to a fellow Clareman and fellow host reseller. We are not competitors (I don't offer hosting publicly, and it's not race-to-the-bottom reseller hosting.). I decided that specialist hosting is something I could do well, with a small bit of investment, and picked that as my unique point. There's no living to be made in competing on registering .COM domains and some basic shared hosting. There used be many years ago, but not now.

    Advice endeth here!

I'm going to bump this to Net/Comms as there is valid feedback to be given on the technical side outside of the site itself. That type of discussion is not allowed on the Design forum however.

I understand the problems, there's issues with the SEO which is very important and I cannot let this go, The lack of content is very very bad, which again needs to be fixed. I will work with this, I appreciate your help and your suggestions, with everyones suggestions taken into consideration..
You don't look like a business that has invested any time or money in its offering. THat's particularly harsh, as I'm sure you've at least put in some time. Hi cgarvey,

FatCow charge $5 for the small plan however the specs are different to what we offer, which are explained below!

    FatCow MiniMoo Plan $5:
    Pricing
    Space: 1 page, no more.

Plan Price Only $5 for the first year Setup Fees $0 Domain Names Save 35% Email
Forwards & Auto Responders Yes Spam Filtering Yes Newsletter Management Yes
    Plan Specifics
Email Accounts 1 WebMail Yes Coming Soon Page Build your own with our SiteDelux building tool or use FatCow's default page..however the yotehosting.com miniPlan costs $25 per year but includes a bit more:

    yotePlan:
    *Free Domain
    *5 MB Space
    *50 E-Mail Addresses (POP Accounts)
    *Webmail

    *Unlimited Aliases
    *Unlimited Autoresponders
*Unlimited Domains (subject to your allowance)
    *Control Panel
    for $25 per year.

therefore theres more features in our plan, there's a slight difference.

I know FatCow are not the best people to be with, therefore I will be changing reseller within the near future, FatCow are incredibly useless and don't give one cent about their customers..I have had terrible problems with them, within the first month, and they wouldnt give a refund (I had a valid reason for a refund) which should comply with the national consumer agency, however since its american there's an issue, anyways; they are not the recommended host in my opinion.

This leaves me with an issue on what to do, Could you recommend any reseller hosts, I'm unsure if I should stay with FatCow, however the hosting goes in a few weeks but the reseller was just got having researched before hand. I need to change reseller host, therefore I would welcome some advice on choosing a company
