    Hello ladies and gents

I have a sky box and I have lost Five on with I have an old card and keeps telling me to update where can you get one of these.
I have heard there’s a list where you can enter numbers and get five on an other channels list anyone know where someone can get that??

And finally im in the west and wanted to know is there anyway or box that I can get that will give me RTE TV3 on the sat dish

    thanks

Just pull out the card and power cycle the box. You will get Five on 105. The only way to get RTE on satellite is to have a Sky subscription.

so theres no box out there for rte it wouldnt have to be sky

and dont mind me asking how do you do that to the box

Take the Sky viewing card out of the box.

Turn off the power to the box, ideally by switching off the socket or pulling out the plug if your power socket doesn't have an on/off switch.

    Turn the power back on.

Wait until the box has restarted. You will then get the default EPG with BBC 1 on 101, BBC 2 on 102 etc. Five should appear on 105? Otherwise manually tune it in using the advice here: http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=2055520627

RTE is currently not available on satellite without a Sky subscription.

Cant be done anymore. 105 will not come up on the EPG without a card. Not since Sky issued the new white cards.

Sky's EPG seems to be inconsistent. I brought up the English EPG at the weekend by removing the Irish subscription card and channel 5 was not on it!

I think it was free on some brands of Digibox but not FTA.

when i had sky, i could tune into fox news, remove the card, and the channel would remain unencrypted.
