Look in the sky, do you see ash?
No, because the ash is a lie. There is no volcano.
All flights are cancelled for some other reason, something big is going on.

Aparently climate change is the cause of the volcano, or possibly the Hadron Collider.

Yes, cause volcanos don't erupt spontaneuosly naturally!!! I fail to see how climate change affected the magma below the volcano. i'm not a climate change sceptic (i think it's going to f**k up the world for generations) but you're sooo wrong!
The Hadron Collider really caused the volcano to erupt
back in 1821. Damn, those physicsists are going back in time to erupt volcanoes ;)

Icelandic Ice Cap Thaw May Trigger It's Dormant Volcanoes
    Saturday, April 17, 2010
    [ Reads:3347 / Comments:0 / 4691 ]
Although there has been nothing to link the current volcanic eruption from below the Eyjafjallajokull glacier in Iceland to global warming scientists are warning that a thaw of Iceland's ice caps in the coming decades - caused by climate change - may trigger more volcanic eruptions by removing a vast weight and freeing magma from deep beneath the surface.

Eyjafjallajokull, although the 5th largest glacier in Iceland, is considered too small and light to affect local geology. This does not detract from research done by Freysteinn Sigmundsson, a vulcanologist at the University of Iceland, who confirms that "eventually there will be either somewhat larger eruptions or more frequent eruptions in Iceland in coming decades."

He said that global warming melts ice and this can influence magmatic systems pointing out that the end of the Ice Age 10,000 years ago coincided with a surge in volcanic activity in Iceland. This apparently as a result of the land rising while huge ice caps thinned out.

See there is always a Climate Change angle and if there isn't, one will be made up or shoe-horned in.

I think it's time we tell Iceland to knock down it's volcanoes. They're nothing but trouble.

mike65, please note that your post says that the current volcanic eruption probably isn't linked to climate change (i prefer this to global warming), but the post is related to future eruptions

i'd like to see how you defend your statement about the hardron collider, because i'm sure there aren't closer volcanos that it'd affect...

are you sure your name isn't Jim Corr, with your crazy conspiracy theories :P

Don't you get it? This was all about oil. The volcano could have gieven us an abundance of clean hydrothermal energy that would make our need for oil reducdant. To stop this secret dark forces planted explosives at selected vulnerable fracture lines casuing the eruption. Iceland was just the perfect patsy. They have a small population, isolated in the north Atlantic and have pissed off alot of people with their economic collapse.:D

    stupid volcanos
My family were coming over from New york for a wedding and then going to that Whitney concert, Thank God she sounded like **** so I heard a volcano would have sounded better than that crackhead
