    thanks,

These people may be able to help:

    http://www.speedycables.com/cables.html

They can manufacture from using either the original or drawings as a guide.

If its a proper race then you won't need a speedo :P

But seriously, no - I've no idea about anyone in Ireland. You could try the likes of Westward Engineering in Enfield as they've got links with Mondello - they may know of someone

okay, it's not really a race it's more of a rally ~ miglia mille in italy, and need to wire up a brantz

Speedy Cables might still be your best bet - with a priority package service you could have something in 3 or 4 days.

Cablecraft in Rathcoole make up control cables for throttles/brakes etc. It's a long shot but it might be worth a call anyway.

For the brantz just use the hall sensor and it'll pick up the rotation of the wheel. I never use the speedo cable for the brantz as wheel spin will throw it out

there is nowhere to mount the hall sensor, as the drive shaft is all encased.

is there any brantz suppliers in Ireland?

Why not try mounting it on the hub, picking up a bolt had welded onto the drum? That's how I've done it on loads of cars. You can also try the bolts holding the driveshaft into the diff.

For Brantz stuff, try any of the motorsport suppliers, Murray Motorsport (Dublin), Ruth Motorsport (Kilkenny), Ears (Mallow), Montgomery Motorsport (up North). I however usually use Demon Tweeks, but getting stuff in from England might be a problem (can DHL fly at the moment?)

Hi years ago there was a company called NOBBY in Dublin that did speedo cable, they closed down a few years ago and a company in Greenogue, Newcastle, Co. Dublin bought all there old stock and they still make cables! I cant remember the name of the company but if I remember right there is a Coffee Shop / Restaurant in Greenogue on a round about and if your standing with your back to the shop and look into the distance you can see the Name of this company on their building wall. I was at The Miglia Mille in Brescia, Italy, last year as a spectator, it was excellent. Good luck! YEAH!
PS: I just read the above posts and someone has posted the name of the company that I couldn't remember... Cablecraft!
