I would like to hear any new Physics terms that you know or would claim to have invented.

    Here's a few of mine

    1) Phynglish - for translating between high level abstractions into easily understood language.

    2) r'angle - for those right hand rules where things have to be at right angles

    3) scaleration - how come there's a scalar for velocity but none for acceleration?

    4) FISMA - of course for honoring Newton's second smile.gif

    5) Jimpulse - too many uses of the letter i, I (moment of inertia), thus, I call it Jimpulse

I leave the making up of physics words to the sci-fi writers. I have been known to frequent this site though...knock yourself out.

Acceleration is often used to talk about the magnitude of the acceleration.

    Anyway, here's mine:
    1) That yoke - Just about everything.
