Ive seen a new apartment block being advertised for rent in coldcut park, lucan.

however, to me it seems to be either clondalkin or palmerstown instead.

does anyone know this complex?im looking to rent a newish apartment, they seem to fit the bill, but the address is puzzling me right now.

further down coldcut is neilstown, and that has to be factored in.

It is Palmerstown. Close to Ballyfermot, but not really to Clondalkin - Neilstown is several miles away.

If you believe estate agents, Lucan must be around 25 square miles! As an experiment once, I was driving past one of the estates advertised as lucan and set the trip meter on the car. It was over 3 miles from Lucan village. :rolleyes:

St. Lomans postcode is Palmerstown Co.Dublin,i assume that's why St.Edmunds has the Palmerstown postcode. I live in the estate next to it and i'm Lucan Co.Dublin!!

postcode is to direct mail to the correct delivery office,
most of the time it matches geographical location, but there are lots of exceptions
