Not illegal to have, illegal to use !

Now there is irony for you!
You can buy a road Angel here, But if you have them in your car the Gards will do ya!

Anyway most NV available is Sh1te. I have used the best and worst. If you are happy seeing a target 10 metres in front of you then they are ok.

Or low mag targets in distant that is blurry

sound lads, i've already got a lamp and battery pack but the thing is i'm finding it hard to get anyone from the gun club to come lamping. i just thought it might give me the ability to shoot solo at night since i've just bought a new .223 and i want to get the use out of the rifle after paying 1300euro for the damn thing.
does anybody have an idea of the price. the website doesn't give one

I shoot solo with a .223 and a scope mountable lamp. It's not rocket science :D Lamp off the scope until you're ready to shoot, slide it on, shoot.

i'v bin looking into these laser genetics for a while now and i had the opportunity the other day of meeting a lad that was buying a fifth one for a friend thats 5 happy user, there are 2 types ND3 and ND5 the latter is the one to get as it has more range and can also be mounted to a scope,
i asked him if the were any good and he said that everyone that goes lamping with him in since he got his has wanted one for them selves that is why he was buying his fifth one for his mate.

i would still like to see one in action before spending €300 as the lamp i have now does the job for me and i can mount it on my scope for solo shooting and it only cost me €170 plus scope mount €30 its a clulite

Where you taking that info from?
I seriously doubt it when it comes to the Laser Genetics products. And military and LE would have no interest in them.
If your talking about NVE, then your also a little mistaken. Civvies can use. ;)

Night vision devices with the ability to be mounted to a rifle, whether they are or are not mounted to a rifle, need permission from a Supernintendo.

Gun shop in Darangan Co Tipp is selling them for €250!!

Anyway they're just a fancy light! All laser torches are great for looking through hedges with out blinding yourself when compared to using standard lamps.
But TBH they are just fancy lights and they have the same effect on foxes and rabbits as a regular torch!!.

If you check out deal-extreme you can buy laser torches for around 30 to 50 euro.

Anyway I have used a standard lidl NV mono attached to Niko scope with adjustable parallax with homemade DSA(day scope attachment) and I illuminated (painted) the target with a IR laser bought off ebay for €60!
I was able to see rabbits and foxes out to 150yards easy!
So for 170euro i had serviceable nv unit that was well able to see past 10yard!!!
