Get two standard admission tickets for €30 at www.tastefestivals.ie until the 2nd of May. Saving of €10 (€5 per ticket) Use promo code TASTE30

The festival will be running from the 10th to the 13th of June in the Iveagh Gardens.

Yes, but you have to pay this even if you don't avail of the offer or if you use ticketmaster. It's a pity they don't include these "booking fees" as the initial price. Grrrrrr!

Enjoyed this the a couple of years back, but went again last year and it was overcrowded and overpriced. Not sure if i would go back.

Whats the difference between the Standard and Premium tickets?

I see from the site something about taste currency, does €20 taste currency go far?

If its the same as the Cork one and it seems that it is similar

your talking about 6 for a 1/3 or a portion. Bottle of wine is 20. you can pay in euro also so its all the same. if you want to go and have a few drinks then it may be better to get the money one. I did and its more fun cause you must spend it and get involved in it rather than being thats too expensive etc.

It can be a deep pockets event though. Pitty I have to miss the Cork one this year

You can buy more Florins (festival currency) at the event, €1 = 1 Florin! I think I spent about €30 last year on food, drink and gadgets, had a great time!

No refunds! Minimum purchase is €5 and I doubt you'd have trouble spending that!

That's what I thought, can cash money be used instead if not I call rip off on that one and will avoid this on that principal much as I really want to go :(
Sorry to be asking these stupid questions , just don't know anyone who has been before and I have missed it in previous years

As far as I could tell last year the exhibitors were taking Euro but are technically not supposed to so it's a bit cloak and dagger like you're buying a joint or something!!!

Id imagine that the exhibitors dont get back a full euro for each florin when they go to cash them in so prob delighted to take the cash. Was at it a few years ago and got some great samples but its really pricey if you want to eat a decent amount of food. You're probably better off going out for a nice dinner!

Anyone got any more promotional codes as that one has expired. Thanks!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 93 ✭✭CompanyBureau

Actually just found one on the Superquinn website - use 'Superquinn' to get tickets for 20 including booking fee. It says on SQ website that promo has expired, but just worked for me! :D

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 244 ✭✭beecee

Try pigsback? You could look for an O'Briens one either? That comp is pretty small aswell so you could be in with a chance.

I'll try pigsback, the O'Briens is now expired. They all seem to be expired.

Why did I not book yesterday? The superquinn one was working fine yesterday. The pigsback one has expired too.

The last one I'm going to try is this one:

    OBRIENS35

but you have to purchase 2 tickets to get them for €42, so €21 each.

Knowing my luck that will be expired also.

I really didn't want to pay the full price!

    Edit:
I just tried the O'Briens one, and that has expired too.

Such a pity! I've learnt my lesson, book early!

ya, go to marks and spencer and just get their meal for 2 (bottle of wine, main course, side & dessert for €12.50) and buy a copy of easy food.
if you want then you could even go crazier and buy a SECOND bottle of wine

enjoy it, what ever you do! The sun's out!:)

Thank you both, that was exactly what I was going to do! Two meals for €25 and change left over!

This recession is all about saving money!
