    Hi

I was wondering are college/university students entitled to JSA or some other amount to cover them during summer because they are looking for and are available for work? Can you apply for it for these months?

    Regards

Have a read of the FAQ thread. Unless you are a mature student you can't claim. But if you have enough stamps you may have an entitlement to jobseekers benefit.

I tried to claim my stamps a few years ago during the summer of college, they said I wasn't allowed, as I was going back in September. So if you are returning to college you can't claim either JSA or JSB, at least that's the way it was about three years ago.
