Can I request to see tracking info of ebay item from seller?

    Hey guys,
    I'm just wondering if I can ask the seller from ebay of proof that they sent my ipod.Its supposed to be sent by registered post so there should be tracking info availible to the seller to see where the item is.Can I ask the seller to send me the details so that I may see where my ipod is?
    I know it will probably be delayed due to closed airspace,but im starting to have a bad feeling about the seller and I want to make sure he has sent it.If i know he has sent it then I dont mind waiting.thanks

    You can ask the seller whatever you like and the seller may or may not give you the answer you want.

    Depending on how long its been I'd just ask for tracking info, you can say you want the tracking number so you can try and chase the carrier up from your end in case its stuck somewhere. Most sellers are only to pleased to reply. If you don't get a reply or its getting to a point where you think the item should have arrived anyway then start the disputes proceedure for an item not recieved. It does no harm to the seller and lets them know they'll get hit for a refund if nothing arrives.
