:) I have angioedema (autoimmune). My right side feels very swollen and sore deep beneath my ribs. Pain is intense so it is very difficult to find a comfortable sleeping position. Sometimes my throat swells and swallowing can be difficult. Immunologist prescribed antihistamines. However pain and swelling still present. Has anyone experienced similar symptoms?

    Hi Fel
My daughter developed angioedema last July post severe anaphylactic reaction to anaesthetic drug. She is constantly sweeling up, her lip bursts, difficuty breathing on 4 occasions with emergency hospitalision and has this same rib pain you have. Also has dilated pupils and swollen tongue and low oxygen saturations with excessive tiredness on bad days

I am unsure if I posted the original message to you re angioedema so posting again. My daughter has angioedema and has all your systoms you appear to have. She developed her condition last year. She has had three hospital admissions with breathing difficulties and she too is on antihistamines 4 different types per day but as you stated the condition contiues.
