Faulty dashboard light

Seem to have a faulty handbrake warning light on my dash, only coming on intermittently when handbrake is engaged. Sometimes comes on fully, sometimes doesnt come on for a few seconds when handbrake is pulled and sometimes flickers on and off. All other lights are grand.

There was nothing in the handbook except either a blown bulb or faulty circuit. Car is question is an 2006 Nissan Tino with 33,000km. NCT is due in a few months so do'nt need this to be a failure point.

    Would appreciate any clues, thanks.

Change the bulb, it might not be seating properly. If the fault persists, I would be looking at the switch, located down at the handbrake itself.

Any idea how to access the bulb, no obvious screws or clips so is this a garage job.

9 times out of 10 it is the switch at the handbrake lever

Thanks for all replies, hope its just the switch as it will probably be a cheaper fix.
