Renewing Drivers Licence

    Surprised but thankful to have received a renewal for a drivers licence in the post today. 10 year licence is up...but the form is as clear as mud.

    I wear glasses full-time - it is marked on my current licence thats about to expire.
    Do I need to get an eyesight test done?
    It just says IF you need to do a test, "the D502 form is available from www.rsa.ie".

    no need, same thing here, just check the box saying you need them and thats all..

    Ah thats great. Was dreading paying for the opticians again and expected a big fee bit its lots cheaper than a passport!
    Must say i didnt realise they were so organised to send me a renewal form-id forgotton.
