I was recently told that if I were to train via a modular route that once I get my CPL any further training is tax deductible. I was told that after CPL you are seen as a commercial pilot and any further training eg Instrument Rating is tax deductible. Can anybody advise if this is correct?

He was an instructor with PTC, he seemed pretty sure about it but i was a bit scooby-dubious about it hence why i asked..... It probably requires you to be self employed etc and you would probable haver to be earning before you could do it (if at all)? Where's an accountant when you need one?:D
