Just bought a 375ml can of this to clean out my fuel system help reduce emissions but the directions for use are quiet sketchy.

Anybody use this and if so whats the best way to use it. Driving a 1.4 vw golf btw. Thanks.

You pour it in the tank. It then is supposed to clean the fuel system of rust and other things and also it lubricates the system.
    All "supposedly"...

yes but do you pour the whole lot into a petrol engine? i was told you could with a diesel but with a petrol you were to wait till the tank was almost empty and by NO means to use the whole tin, only use SMALL amounts at a time.

    ProTec video (about 8:40) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i7OoHDiiiwE
"regardless of how much fuel you have in your tank you just pour the fuel system cleaner into your tank during or after a service"
and later on @ 10:00 they say you only need to use it once a year

I get the impression you tip the whole contents in, it bonds with the water in the tank so the amount of fuel in there is irrelevant.
