Reputable place to get stuff valued

Hi I am in the process of clearing the house of a deceased relative who collected antiques, a subject that I have zero knowledge off. They disposed of a lot of the stuff in their latter years but there are still some bits and pieces there that I'd like to get some idea of value on. It's mostly brass ,lamps and other bits, some silver and some crystal and china.

I want to make sure that I do not foolishly dispose of something valuable.
What is the best way of getting some idea of whether the stuff is of any value?

Could anyone recommend a reputable valuer/dealer in the greater Dublin area that I could bring some stuff to to get an idea?

    Thanks in advance.
