Have a design for a new tattoo and was wondering where the best place is to get it done.

Also I am a student so somewhere not ridiculously expensive would be a help

Tattoo artists are like any other type of artists, they have specialties.

Recommendations are something to work off of but you should probably go visit a few of them, see their work and decide who you like best for yourself.

As Xiney said: take your design to various shops and see what they think. Ask to see similar tatts done so you can see what they looked like finished. All artists photograph their work after.

Or scan your design and post in Tattoo forum, they'll be able to tell you who would be good then. I'm locking this and referring you to that forum instead once you've scanned the design or can describe it for them.
