    Just saw the following tweet:

    SonyPlayStation: Pssst...starting now, WipEout HD is only $9.99 on the PSN Store, 50% off. Sale good 'til next Wednesday

    Not sure if this in Ireland/UK shops as well - not a bad game for a tenner - I paid €25 for this (Fury pack) couple of months ago! :rolleyes:

    Europe to get Wipeout HD for a little more than a tenner? I doubt that Sony cares about us Europeans enough to warrant it.

    I have a sneaky suspision that this is their way of getting some people to update their firmware

    Nothing to do with firmware update, either get the game or don't and keep your non 3.21 firmware.

    Think it's only for the US though, easy to set up a US account and D/L anyway. Can't check the Irish PSN store in work (Media Go required).

    What I mean is they might be wanting to tempt some people on the old firmware to buy the game so then they would need to update the firmware to download it.

    A great game and well worth €10. Kinda sucks though if it's not for the European market. Sigh, we're always screwed over.
