well if they're clamping you for being late off a ticket, what you do is.....hail down someone else who's leaving with an up to date ticket and claim your ticket fell onto the floor, it works coz the clampers take a photo of the dash to show there's no ticket there but you can send off your "new" ticket and youre sorted!

Same thing happened to me last year. I put in enough money for an hour. Got held up in a meeting and was stuck there for about an extra 15 mins. When I got back to the car the clampers were there and had clamped the car next to mine, he was standing beside my car looking at it as I got there.

He saw me coming running so just said "Ah, you just made it" or something to that effect, and moved on to check the rest of the cars.
