Brittney, from Glee

My favourite character on any programme anywhere at the moment. She's actually quite a minor part of the show, but is so spectacularly dumb it makes me watch what had been a programme that was slacking off. This last episode on TV3 was priceless..

Sue Sylvester has enlisted Brittney and Santana to break up the glee club, and is getting updates on progress. Just before she dismisses them, she asks ..."Anything else?", Brittney replies...
"I sometimes forget my middle name".

Also, line of the week has to be, totally out of context Brittney turns to Santana and says ....."did you know dolphins are just gay sharks?"....

I think it's the way the actress plays her, totally deadpan, totally sincere in her massive blonde stupidity. More please.

I can't stand her or her stupid friend, pointless characters!

Also the actress looks waaaay too old to be there, I mean they all look old but she just looks ridiculous in that cheerleader uniform.

There's only one downright amazing character on that show.. and that's Sue Sylvester.

Although Britney has a couple of great lines to be fair!

Britney is great but I think there is danger of overkill. I'd prefer to see her get a few stoopid lines per episode and leave it at that - she hardly has any depth to explore!

And as for characters looking older than they are, most of them are in their mid 20's and Puck and Finn are 27 (Schu being 31, and playing slightly older if his grad was 1993).

Yeah but most of them don't wear cheerleader uniforms so they don't look as silly...

According to Wikipedia, the actress who plays her is 23. So she's old for her character, but not the oldest there. I don't think she looks much older than any of the rest.
Anyway, Brittany is a great character. Hopefully she'll be given more screentime, as she's really underused.

Heather Morris who plays Britney actually comes up with allot of these lines herself. Ryan Murphy just gives her the opportunity to come up with stuff. In an upcoming episode she came up with the following zingers (spoiler: highlight to read)

In the Madonna episode Mr Shu calls the boys misogynists. Predictably, Finn has no idea what this means. Brittney seeks to help him out...

Agreed! It was hilarious when she was in the glee room and had taken too much anti-biotics and couldn't remember how to get out of the room again. I think if she had too much lines it would take away from her funniness to be honest.

I think her character is great and very entertaining. I love how they
are developing some of the smaller characters this season.

They really need to put Brittany in it more, granted there is alot more of her in the second part to the season,...and there is way too much mr.schu!
