INTRA affecting Student Grants

I'm looking for a bit of info of any people who have completed INTRA but were also in receipt of a student grant.

I'm due to start mine in 2 weeks but I'm not getting paid for it and I'm hoping I can secure my student grant for next year early because my grant this year was processed late due to repeat exams.

Will I have to complete my INTRA before applying for my Grant or can I have my grant processed early?
    Thanks.

I was on Intra last year. I get the full top-up grant, and the Back To Education Allowance too.

I had no problems with getting the grant. Why would you? If you have a query why don't you ask them? If I were you I'd ask the grant people now what the story is regarding next year.

i'm on a year long intra at the moment. i applied for the grant as normal last october (and still waiting for the first cheque). your intra placement, regardless of how long it is, is still considered part of your academic year and its part of your course so your still considered a student in the eyes of the grant authority. you shouldn't have any problems with getting in
