    Hello,

I'm looking to buy a 3G Modem, I'll be using it in turkey so I'll have to be able to unlock it

is the vodafone 19.99€ modem the best for it's price? or is there better cheaper/same

    thanks,

    Kevin.

That Vodafone prepay one comes unlocked. You just need to download the generic software. I doubt you'll do a huge amount better than 20 quid.

Yeah very true, I'll be using it with a Ethernet 3G router, would I be better off buying a 3G router with a sim slot built in (if there is such a thing)? (would it be cheaper in other words)

You could buy an unlocked Mifi modem on eBay. Not as cheap as €20, but if you're buying a router and modem it won't be that cheap anyway. This is a simpler and neater solution.

Unless the modem is built in, the SIM goes in the Modem, not the router. The MiFi are not very good on the router front, more a portable WiFi bridge to 3G for gadgets with only WiFi.

If you have a LAN or more than one device, best to get a full WiFi/Ethernet router with USB support for 3G modem (SIM goes in Modem).
