Scripture text offensive in Christianity forum???

Dear All

I see my signature has been removed for being offensive. It was:
1 Timothy 2:12 And I do not permit a woman to teach or to have authority over a man, but to be in silence. 13 For Adam was formed first, then Eve.

I had high-lighted the latter part to draw attention to the creation order.

I assume the offence was not so much the contra evolution point, but Paul's prohibition on women pastors.

I am amazed at this sort of censorship in a Christian forum.

I take it any texts that contradicts modern ideology are banned? Nothing against fornication, adultery, polygamy, homosexuality, drunkenness, or unbelief may be used?

I tried to PM the administrator, but he/she doesn't permit PMs. So how about the moderators here? Any comment?

Don't know anything about it. I can't say that your sig has ever registered with me, but I wonder why you chose that of all verses. Anyway, I would imagine that persons unknown complained about your sig and it judged worthy of removal by whoever is incharg of such things. There is nothing that either PDN or I can do about it. Starting this public thread certainly isn't the way to behave.

I haven't a clue who touched your signature. Sounds like the sig police rather than anything to do with this forum tbh.
