I'd say 10-12 would be about right!

8 to 10 to 12 bales should be about right,27-2.5-5 for sliage and its getting a bit late for urea

dont matter how late you use urea as long as you spread it when conditions are right if you spread on a sunny day and dont get rain to wash it in you will loose about half of it to the air spread it on a cloudy day just before rain and it will work fine also dont spread it on bare ground make sure theres a small covering of grass on the fields

Lots of different factors (eg - how heavy the crop is, baler type, baler operator, etc) but around 10 bales to the acre is a decent rule of thumb

I've seen up to 20 bales per acre in very wet years. A lack of wilting and the crop being left longer in the hope of better weather all played their part in the mammoth amount of bales.

20 bales to acre is possible alright. I've seen it a few times before but it is very rare to get it. You might get it if the conditions were right but you wouldn't want to be expecting it

Its not quantity its quality.... if you are getting 20 bales an acre chances are the good is gone from the grass.... too stemy
