    The psychology of persuasion by Robert Cialdini. The 5 or 6 principles that influence people. Good book and lots of useful sales tips.

    Dale Carnegie's "How to win friends and influence people" was held in high regard by many of the old guard. Reckon it'd need to be taken with a pinch of salt and read with one eye to the modern world though.
