A date with Colin Farrell?

Saw this on a tweet from Sean Moncrieff. Colin Farrell is to wine and dine some lucky ladies who enter the Mini Marathon for the charity DEBRA Ireland.

I'm away that weekend but might just change the flights!!

Seems like he does a lot for charity. Good for Colin!!

It's a bit late to announce this now. If he'd announced this just before registration opened it would have meant a few more women doing the mini marathon on DEBRAs behalf.

Still, the people who are doing it for DEBRA are probably pleased as thier chances of winning are higher. I wonder if the winner could turn it down, if they didn't want the free dinner? I guess another winner would be selected if that were to happen.

its a bit rich of him isnt it??? hey girls youve won a prize, a night with ME!!!! why not just give a chunk o change to the charity and walk in it yourself, that would realy boost the number anyway. you'll spend longer on the bloody date thing.

How fun could dinner with a reformed achoholic be anyway. have you seen him interviewed at all recently. He's all, " hi Im colin and I used to be a womanising, alchoholic, drug dependent, fake flat Dublin accented but realy from castleknock havin mediocre actor" "but now ive discovered the true path to enlightenment and self fullfullment is actually achieved to ones feeding and nurturing the selfless altruistic side of my nature, which in turns effect all those around me and inspires me to develop my esoteric way of being.

Yeah right colin, try aiming for somewhere in between, in the words of russell brand "F*ck off you square"

And of course he's obvioulsy completely drug free now what with his gurning,twitching and constantly playing with his greasy hair.

It wouldnt be so annoying if he wasnt such a consitently shiit actor...he's a fraud and a nobhead.

Talentless ligger? Jesus, he has some talent (Golden Globe for In Bruges) and he's clean sober. Also seems to be a fairly down to earth nice chap

Kevin after a hard days work in the garage looks a hell of a lot more presentable than Farrell done up.

heard him interviewed on radio years ago very posh castleknock accent before he made it, where did that scanger accent come from .

That skanger accent/foul mouth was all an act with Farrell. The guy is constantly acting. Now it's the fidgeting and messing with the hair, all part of his persona and facade. He is the male version of another wacko, Sinead O'Connor.

He was good in The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus. I was totally convinced by his performance of a man who wanted to bone supermodel Lily Cole.
