I could have a users email address to contact him? I'm very intrested in one of his adverts but he's offline a month. It's not on his boards profile. Could a member of staff contact him saying you have a potential buyer? etc.

I would say it is extremely unlikely. Data protection laws would prevent Admins/employees of Boards.ie from revealing such information.
