When will Facebook let us filter individual status updates?

I feel like I have to hold back on status updates because my uncle or some weird neighbour (who I don't even know) is reading my status updates. Anyone know if facebook plan to allow us to filter status updates?

...They already do. Have done for a long time.

When you post your status there's a little padlock button right next to the "Share" button that you click to submit it. Click the padlock, go to "Customise" and you may choose exactly who sees and who doesn't see that status, down to the individual.
