YLOD again!

so 2 months ago i got the yellow light of death with a 40gb from xtravision. i had it repaired and it worked fine until yesterday when it happened again, so I'm bringing it back to the guys who repaired it to get my 60 euro back. I'm clueless as what to do next? i want to get a slim now because they are less likely to get YLODs. will i be able to sell it to someone who might fix it and maybe resell it? please help I'm so clueless

Try and get yerman to fix it for free this time, verify that it's working and trade it in for a slim?

OK ..Take back the €60 and for the inconvenience get him to patch it for free , then trade .

There is no permanent fix for an Rsx fail so you were only ever gona get 1 month to max a 10-12 months out if it. just get it fixed and trade it on. your doing nothing wrong because you trading in a working machine. game shops will screw you over any chance they get so dont feel bad.

Also you got ripped off by paying €60 euro for an rsx repair.

eh i dont think xtravision take trade ins of consoles just games im afraid!

did u just make that up? its just i tried to trade a console with them not so long ago and they wouldnt take it!

he just said xtra vision were taking his old console and giving him the slim for 160 thats a trade isnt it?

Hmmm, you might be right...think I misread his post! Maybe he bought it there!
