    Hi there,

Hoping someone can advise on which Irish or UK publications accept submissions from rookie freelance writers. The type of articles are general interest humourous pieces.

    Thanks for any help.

What sort of writing? Fiction, poetry, news reporting, feature articles?

The truth is that all magazines and newspapers will accept stuff if it is good enough. They'll pay for it too. But it has to be really good, and you have to come across as professional.
