I have to catch a connecting flight at Stanstead airport. I will have to collect some luggage from the luggage belt. I will also have carry on luggage, a buggy and a toddler and will need a luggage trolley.

Does anyone know if you need sterling coins for the luggage trollies? Or are they free?

I was there last month you needed to pay for the trolleys.

    From their website:

    Trolleys
Baggage trolleys are provided in the reclaim hall and other key areas in the terminal building, car parks, rail station and coach station – please help yourself if you require one.

To obtain a trolley you will need a £1, €1 or $0.25 coin, which is refunded when the trolley is returned.

There are change machines in the international and domestic baggage reclaim halls, on the terminal forecourt and in the coach station.

In the interests of safety, children (or adults) must must not ride on the trolleys.
