South Park (14x05) - 200

I know it's part 1 of 2, or something but as a standalone episode it wasn't that great in my opinion. The tom cruise stuff in the factory was funny at the start and seeing bono again but apart from that I think it was a poor 200th episode. The whole mohammad thing has been done before when they were taking the p1ss out of family guy and it was actually funny then. Anyway hope the 2nd part is better.

Since it was the 200th episode they should have just done it all in a 40 minute episode. I enjoyed it but it's a bit silly to complete a milestone episode a week after the milestone has passed.

I'd love it if it was a stand alone episode, just to mess with us!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 886 ✭✭✭randomchild

Man that was some funny ****. From the ginger reveal to the return of mecha striesand, it had me on the floor. Although it was completely fan-service, it still worked really well.

they are so going to do a terrance and phillip skit next week...

That was an awesome tribute to all the highlights of south park's 200 episodes and I think a big part of the joke is *the mohammad thing again* they even say so during the episode, it also addressess the issue that mohammad has been in every episode of south park since his appearance in the david blaine episode.

    but the real highlight is
    mr hat!

I'm sorry, but if you didn't like that episode then why do you even watch the show?

Best episode in ages, and that's saying a lot considering the last two were also epic. The twists and turns kept coming like. It was so epic.

i thought the exact same thing after the show!

cracking episode. it was almost like a south park's greatest hits all in 20 minutes!

I didn't like it, the jokes are really stale now.

If Streisand is back does that mean Robert Smith will return too?

Only Robert Smith can defeat mecha Streisand

Decent episode but it could have been a lot better, I would have loved to see the Chewbacca defense again, they could have fitted it in when the SP residents were talking about the celebrities lawyers. Anyway, that's a pretty minor thing and I'm willing to let it go

I'm loving the suggestions you guys are coming up with for next week, a T&P special would brilliant, would also be funny if they just moved on with the series as if "200" never happened. They'll probably go with another part but here's hoping they catch us off guard and do something completely random!

In the one where Cartman 'dies' there is a bit where
Scott is crying in front of his parent's graves and Cartman gives him a fruit basket
:D just noticed it in a rerun last night. Has he been in any other episodes?

Epic episode. I was laughing from beginning to end. I went and re-watched the Tom Cruise episode before this too. I especially loved the gingers :D

*I'll MAKE YOU EAT YOUR PARENTS!*

    and stan adds in

    *Its true man he will*

Wasn't that the point of this episode?

    Good ep,
epic return for Mr. Hat, is he Cartman's real Dad :D

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,698 ✭✭✭✭BlitzKrieg

Wasn't that the point of this episode?

it was the second line stan said in the episode *guys this is really old!*

I don't think Tenorman's dad would be Cartman's because they said that his dad "was in the room that night" when he found out it was his mom.

It'd be pretty funny if it was Kenny's dad or something.

Don't think chef was in this episode, or am I wrong?

I am wagering that he is cartman's father. Would be hard to have this sort of episode without an appearance from one of the most iconic characters, with or without the VA.

It'd be comical if it was Kyle's dad. Imagine the mutual disgust at finding out they're half brothers? :P

It's clearly the Denver Broncos tbh...

The suspects. ;) But it can't be that simple, surely?

Part of me thinks it's going to be Mohammed.

anyone of them could have a *hand puppet* like mitch and mr hat who could cartman's real dad.

    and that he's half jewish

he will grasp at the technicallity that you are not recognised as jewish unless your mother is jewish...

I was watching it thinking 'this is great but if only they had brought back Mecha Streisand' and then she appeared. :pac:

Really liked the references to past episodes. I hope Mr. Garrison is Cartman's Dad as he's one of the few in the South Park that's as loud and as evil as Cartman is. Would explain where he gets it from.

I suspect it might end up with Kyle and Cartman as half-brothers but I hope not as I fear it could be a jump-the-shark moment.

lol. That's exactly what I thought as soon as the end credits rolled. I don't think they could help themselves.

Shame on the OP. I thought it was a great episode. Completely for the regular fans. Loved all the references to previous themes, characters and episodes. Can't wait for next week.

I think they mistook the references for "rehashes", perhaps forgetting the context of which episode they were watching.

    Loved it.

So many references to great episodes past. Especially the superbest friends epsiode which i loved.

    Mecha Streisand 2.0 so good.

I too can see them never following up on this episode, or doing another T&P ep.

If Scott tenorman / Radiohead showed up next week It would be the icing on the cake.

    201 (South Park)

"201" is the sixth episode of the fourteenth season of South Park, and the 201st overall episode of the series. It will air on Comedy Central in the United States on April 21st, 2010. It is continuation of the previous episode.

    Plot

It is a tense situation in South Park as Muhammad has become the pawn in the game to save the town. That was a mental read!

The posting on Revolutionmuslim.com says: “We have to warn Matt and Trey that what they are doing is stupid and they will probably wind up like Theo Van Gogh for airing this show. This is not a threat, but a warning of the reality of what will likely happen to them.”
Theo van Gogh was a Dutch filmmaker who was murdered by an Islamic extremist in 2004 after making a short documentary on violence against women in some Islamic societies. The posting on Revolutionmuslim.com features a graphic photograph of Van Gogh with his throat cut and a dagger in his chest.

From the pic of potential dad's, I hope Kevin is the real dad, that would be funny but seeing as its south park, anything could happen!!

My crazy guess would be, what if Kyle's Mom Shelia used to be a man and had a sex change but Kyle and Cartman are non identicle twins and she is their dad, the kidney swap episode got me thinking along this line as Gerald would be too obivious, other than that I hope to Fcuk this is not another stupid Star Wars ripoff, ie Darth Chef.
